Get answers to common questions about Professional Lip Waxing.

Results typically last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and make hairs finer over time, extending the period between appointments.

No. Waxing removes hair from the root and does not change its color or thickness. Regrowth may feel coarser briefly, but over time hair often appears finer and sparser.

Most clients report brief discomfort during removal. To minimize sensitivity, avoid caffeine before your appointment, ensure proper hair length, and we can apply a soothing barrier or post-wax calming treatment.

Arrive with about 1/4 inch of hair growth for best results. Avoid retinol, strong exfoliants, and sunburned skin beforehand. Inform your technician about medications or skin conditions.

Avoid sun exposure, saunas, heavy exercise and makeup on the area for 24 hours. Use gentle cleansing and a calming lotion, and exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Most skin types can be waxed safely. We perform a consultation and patch test when necessary. Some conditions, like active cold sores or certain medications, may require alternative approaches.
