Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Full Back Waxing.

Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycles. Consistent waxing can extend intervals between appointments as hair grows back finer and sparser, improving long-term results.

Sensitivity varies by person and area, but quick professional techniques and pre-care reduce discomfort. Our estheticians use warm wax and calming post-wax treatments to soothe skin. Communicate pain concerns so we can adjust for comfort.

Ensure hair is at least a quarter inch long, exfoliate gently two days prior, and avoid heavy lotions on treatment day. Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid sunburns or recent aggressive chemical treatments.

Shaving removes hair at the surface and can interfere with waxing results. Avoid shaving between waxes; trimming short hairs is acceptable, but wait for sufficient regrowth so waxing can remove hair from the root.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise, and tight clothing for 24–48 hours. Apply soothing aloe or fragrance-free lotion, exfoliate gently after several days, and protect freshly waxed skin from sun exposure with SPF.

People with active sunburns, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or certain skin conditions should delay waxing. Pregnant clients or those on blood-thinning medications should consult a physician and inform our staff before booking.
