Most toner sessions take 15–30 minutes depending on hair length, porosity and desired neutralization. Your stylist will assess and customize processing time to achieve even, natural results while avoiding over-processing for optimal hair health.

When applied by our professionals, toners are low-damage and formulated to correct tone without lightening. We use protective techniques and bond-building treatments to minimize breakage, and recommend follow-up conditioning to maintain hair strength and shine.

If bleaching was performed in-salon, toning usually follows immediately to neutralize unwanted brass. For recent at-home lightening, wait for hair recovery or a consultation. Your stylist will evaluate porosity and condition before toning to ensure safe, effective results.

Toning longevity varies with hair porosity, products and washing frequency. Most clients enjoy neutralized tones for four to eight weeks; purple shampoos and color-safe routines can extend results. We’ll recommend maintenance to preserve your ideal shade.

Toners are typically color-depositing and do not lift natural pigment. They neutralize brassy undertones and refine shade rather than lighten the base. For actual lightening or base changes, discuss additional color services with your stylist.

Use sulfate-free, color-safe shampoos and conditioners, and incorporate a purple or blue shampoo for blond tones as advised. Limit washing, use heat protectant, and schedule regular gloss or toner refresh appointments to maintain vibrancy and prevent brassiness.
